Meet the Owner

Misti Wyant is the proud owner and operator of Get Floored Epoxy, a woman-owned epoxy flooring company serving Shreveport, Bossier City, and the surrounding areas.

Born in La Grange, Texas in August 1989, Misti was raised with strong Southern values. Her mother was from La Grange, Texas, and passed away from cancer in 2015. Her father is from Columbia, Louisiana, where her family has deep roots, and he instilled in Misti the strong work ethic, determination, and honesty that continue to guide her today. Her grandfather spent his life as a commercial fisherman on the Ouachita River in Columbia, Louisiana.

While graduating from high school in 2008, Misti was introduced to the oil and gas industry by her great-uncle, who taught her how to buy and sell oilfield casing. In 2009, while preparing to welcome her daughter into the world, she attended Victoria College in Victoria, Texas, where she earned her certification as a Certified Phlebotomist. She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and worked in nursing homes caring for others.

In her early twenties, Misti moved to Louisiana, where she worked in hospice care, the bar and nightclub industry, and later as a Human Resources Assistant in the oilfield after welcoming her son in 2017.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Misti founded Clearly Buckin’ Clean LLC in Bossier City, Louisiana. The company remains in full operation today, providing residential and commercial cleaning services alongside Get Floored Epoxy.

In 2021, Misti accepted a position at the historic Uniroyal factory in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as a Laboratory Technician and Production Lead. Missing the South, she returned to Texas, where she discovered her passion for epoxy flooring. After three months of research, she completed professional training with New Era Epoxy in Houston in 2023.

In September 2024, Misti reconnected with her best friend from Shreveport, Louisiana. They are now engaged and plan to be married in December 2026.

In August 2025, Misti brought Get Floored Epoxy back home to the Shreveport-Bossier City area. As the company’s 100% owner and operator, she is personally involved in every project and is committed to delivering quality workmanship, honest recommendations, and exceptional customer service.

Misti is passionate about proving that women can succeed in traditionally male-dominated industries. She is a second-year Corporate Sponsor of the Krewe of Centaur and a member of the North Louisiana Home Builders Association. Her philosophy is simple: treat every customer with honesty, stand behind every job, and never compromise on quality.
